Applications from new potential members are always welcomed. The annual membership fee. is currently £20 with a £5 joining fee. Anyone wishing to apply please send us a message.
Collectors of all kinds from beginners to experts are all welcome!
Member benefits
Meetings
The first and most obvious benefit is that you can attend our face to face and zoom meetings. We will also keep you informed of other philatelic events including stamp fairs and zoom displays by other societies you may wish to attend. These meetings offer a wonderful opportunity to learn more about postage stamps and postal history. Many of the speakers are leading experts in their respective fields and every meeting is a learning experience.
Members also have the opportunity to show items from their collections on Members evenings and, if they wish to be guest speaker, at a face to face or zoom meeting.
Exchange Packets
In addition, the Society has an ‘Exchange Packet’. This packet contains books of stamps offered for sale by other members of our own society or from further afield. This provides the opportunity to look for those elusive items at a reasonable price and can provide hours of fun.
Auctions
Members have an exclusive access to the Society’s auctions that offer variety of interesting philatelic material.
Library
The Society also has an extensive library containing hundreds of philatelic books, many of which are out of print and difficult to find.
